The Apple Tree is an independent, non-profit child care center for children ages 3 months to 5 years, accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs. Apple Tree admits infants, toddlers, and preschoolers of any color, disability, ethnic or national origin, family structure, race, religion or gender.

The center is licensed for 7 infants, 18 toddlers, 33 preschool, and 18 school age children.

Hours
6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Tuition
Preschool program tuition is based on a sliding scale; the amount you pay is determined by the total gross income of your family. Some financial aid is available; please ask the Director. Pay stubs to certify income will be requested every six months. Baby Apple and Little Apple have set monthly tuition.

Nutrition
We serve breakfast/snack at 8 a.m., lunch at 11:30 a.m., and a mid-afternoon snack.

Activities
Children at the Apple Tree play outdoors every day. You child periodically goes on neighborhood walks with permission forms signed yearly. The Apple Tree curriculum has been put together with the objective of fostering cognitive, social, physical and emotional development of each child. These goals are accomplished via a nearly unlimited variety of activities, including language arts, art, dramatic play, science observations, pre-math, sensory play, cooking, field trips, neighborhood walks, and much more.
