I am the vine you are the branches
2021 Stewardship Team
Each year the tree puts out new life – new leaves, new twigs, new flowers. For the tree to sustain this new growth, it also expands the trunk – new wood, a new ring, more girth, more strength; new wood to conduct nutrients to and from leaves and roots.
The good husbandman attends to the health of the whole tree.
The growing Calvary Church looks forward to expanded ministries and also to deepen existing ones. We tend to the need of our growing youth. We are are mindful of our roots and foundation, the health of our living members and the members and the legacy of our ancestors.
We are all stewards of the church, contributing as we can through time, talent and treasure to feed the life of this tree within God’s forest – to support both the trunk and the fruit that will come to share his Grace and Glory.
“I am the vine; you are the branches.
If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit…”

Presiding Bishop Michael Curry is offering Habits of Grace, a weekly meditation to help Episcopalians cope during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“As we learn how to adjust our lives given the reality of the coronavirus and the request to do our part to slow its spread by practicing physical distancing, I invite you to join me each week to take a moment to cultivate a ‘habit of grace.’ A new meditation will be posted each week.” —
