Forget-Me-Not - the Historical Dance Company
Steve Percer's group has a mission to educate through workshops on dance and etiquette in ballroom dance from American Colonial times through the Roaring Twenties. The group also desires to entertain with colorful period costumes, lively music, authentic steps, and spirited interpretations of period dances. The company hopes to promote historical dance and keep it alive in the 21st Century.
The dance company was founded in the fall of 1996 and has grown to be an international competitor in historical dance. The group holds an annual period ball each fall in Hannaford Hall (part of historic Calvary Episcopal Church).
