Greetings one and all!

Five Fearless tweens braved the cold and freezing rain and met on the Calvary House porch on Sunday for hot cocoa, games, and prayer. In preparation for Youth Sunday on January 30th, we worked to compose Fearless-style Prayers of the People. I continue to be impressed by the vision for peace and justice that drives our youth! We spoke about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy and what issue we feel called to use our gifts to change for the better. Protecting the planet, helping animals in need, and treating all people with respect and kindness were some of the ideas the kids shared. May it be so, and amen.

Looking forward to our next gathering, Sunday at 4:30, outdoors.

Until then, peace be with you!

Reverend Olivia
