The English Family joins the Rector in California
Rev. Allison’s husband and children— Robert, Olivia, and Amelia — joined her this week. They had an opportunity to see their first family home in Santa Monica, CA and to reconnect with several friends from their past.
They were able to see both churches (First United Methodist of Santa Monica and All Saints’ Episcopal, Beverly Hills) where they were first raised and in which they were baptized.
Per an agreement Robert and Allison made with one another before the birth of their children, Olivia was baptized at All Saints’ Episcopal Church (if she had been a boy, she would have been baptized in a Methodist Church). To even up the score, Amelia was baptized three years later at First United Methodist Church of Santa Monica.
