A Three-part Series
You’re invited to join local neighborhood citizens and church members as we embark on a three-part ecumenical series on Housing and Homelessness in Cincinnati. This series is in response to a marked increase in conversation and reaction to the homeless population in Clifton, specifically in Burnet Woods and on Ludlow Ave.
In this series, you are invited to engage in a series of ways to better understand the challenges of homelessness in our midst and ways we can respond as individuals and as a community both realistically and with compassion.
The three parts of the series include:
Wednesday, January 10 – Dispelling the Myths – hosted at Clifton United Methodist Church (3416 Clifton Ave.) at 7:00 p.m.
A panel of neighborhood leaders in preventing and tending to the needs of the homeless population in Clifton will be present to share their experience and respond to your questions.
Wednesday, January 31 – Affordable Housing in Cincinnati – hosted at Calvary Episcopal Church (3766 Clifton Ave.) at 7:00 p.m.
Hear from leaders from the Homeless Coalition on initiatives in the city to provide affordable housing.
Tuesday, February 6 – Homelessness and our Moral Mandate – hosted at Immanuel Presbyterian Church (3445 Clifton Ave.) at 7:00 p.m. Join local clergy leaders in exploring a compassionate Christian ethic and how we all can meaningfully and effectively engage with persons experiencing homelessness.
