On Saturday night about twenty Calvary parishioners of all ages gathered to enjoy El Hogar’s immersive, multi-media event, “Esperanza; A Celebration of Hope.” The evening’s program not only increased our awareness of El Hogar’s mission and ministry, but also infused us with optimism as we heard the many stories from the teachers, students, and alumni of El Hogar. Despite the trying circumstances they’ve endured, the students of El Hogar are resilient and resourceful. It is clear that God is at work in that place, and we at Calvary are blessed to witness and help support their ministry.
